I have even uninstalled most add ons and just left exodus and it still happens. Hi Joe. Such issues are being reported daily by many FireStick users. If it is happening with all addons, then this seems to be the issue with your FireStick.
FireStick Generation 1 is now too old and the addons might not be running properly due to updates that might have brought in some incompatibilities. An honest advice would be to buy an up to date FireStick device.
I am stuck on step 4 of downloading exodus to I followed every step exactly, but when I get to install from zip file and select kodil repo, it does not display kodil.

Check out our tutorial on how to install Kodi on Firestick. A window will display the files that are going to be installed. Click OK. Add-on installed! Git Browser is part of the Indigo Kodi addon. Sometimes links and repositories stop working, so we decided to include Git Browser as an alternative option to install Exodus Redux.
First of all, let us remind you that both Exodus Redux and Exodus Kodi are free. At the moment, Exodus Redux is more consistent because it is the version that gets more updates, and is linked to stronger files where the best media will be streamed from.
That being said, we also want to remind you that the technology behind Kodi and its extensions — and actually behind everything that is tech — is very dynamic. So please keep in mind that the characteristics and existence of certain addons and repositories change all the time. Exodus Redux might not have the craziest logo or interface, but we love it for its simplicity.
Inside Movies and TV Shows you can find content by year, popularity, episodes, and people, and in most cases you will find various streaming options per video, providing different video qualities.
Just explore these folders and select the file that you want to stream! If you want to install Exodus V8 — the older version of Exodus also known as Exodus Kodi — or other addons, follow the same steps, but use the URL that will pull the repository and addon that you are looking for. Below you will find some ways to resolve the most common Exodus Redux issues.
These recommendations will also help you to resolve problems with most addons. If the addon is slow or not running streams you might need to clear the cache. Once a user selects a given TV show or a movie, Exodus performs a search on the internet for all possible working links and then displays a long list containing all those links.
If the user clicks the link at the top of the list then this add-on can automatically play the relevant stream by searching all individual links. However, if you find that the add-on has kicked out then you need to start again a bit further down the shown list. If it comes up for you then simply click the button that says CANCEL at the bottom in order to move on and try out the next link.
Hence, our research shows that generally speaking, you should try your best to stay away from all such sites unless you have a lot of experience using Kodi. Now, this is the place where we would remind you that if you decide to go through this PAIR option and you want to do it with confidence then it is considered best practice to do so with a smartphone device or a tablet that is old.
We say that because while the pairing website is doing its work, the actual link would have nothing but spam and advertisements in its surroundings. Moreover, once you see a stream starting, and if you also see it is buffering, then it is better to just stop the stream from ever playing and looking further down the shown list to click on a link that is good.
It is here that you should know that there will be times when you will find the best link very quickly. On the other hand, you should also prepare yourself for those times when you will find it extremely hard to find the right link. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.
